The resistance thermometers from this series serve as versatile temperature sensors for measuring both liquid and gaseous media within the range of -50°C to +250°C [-58°F to +482°F]. Intrinsically safe versions are available for hazardous environments. They can withstand pressures up to 140 bar [2,030 psi] with 3 mm [0.12 in] sensor diameters and up to 270 bar [3,916 psi] with 6 mm [0.24 in] sensor diameters, depending on the model. All electrical components are protected against humidity (IP67 or IP69K) and designed to endure vibration (20 g, depending on the model).
The resistance thermometer can be acquired with either a direct sensor output or an integrated transmitter, customizable via the WIKAsoft-TT PC configuration software. Users can adjust parameters such as measuring range, damping, and error signaling per NAMUR NE 043, and TAG no.
